1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the ST Mentor website and any mentoring, tutoring, interview preparation, application support or related services ("Services") booked through us. By booking a session or purchasing a Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.

2. Bookings and payment

All sessions and packages must be paid for in full at the time of booking. Your booking is only confirmed once payment has been received and you have received written confirmation from us. Prices are quoted in GBP and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

3. Refund policy

All bookings are non-refundable.

Once a session, package or service has been booked and paid for, the fee is non-refundable, whether or not you attend the session. This reflects the time we reserve exclusively for you, the preparation undertaken by your mentor in advance, and the opportunity cost of turning away other clients for that slot.

In the rare event that ST Mentor cancels a session and is unable to offer a suitable alternative time within a reasonable period, we will issue a full refund for that specific session.

4. Rescheduling policy

We understand that plans change. You may reschedule a booked session free of charge, provided that you give us at least 48 hours' notice before the original start time. Reschedule requests must be sent in writing to contact@stmentor.com and are subject to mentor availability.

Requests made less than 48 hours before the session, no-shows, and late arrivals that result in the session being missed will be treated as the session having taken place, and no refund or replacement session will be offered.

Each session may normally be rescheduled once. Further changes are at our discretion and may incur an administrative fee.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree to attend sessions on time, to provide any materials reasonably requested by your mentor in advance, and to engage with the Services in good faith. ST Mentor provides guidance, preparation and feedback only; we do not guarantee any particular outcome, including offers, grades, placements or admissions decisions.

6. Intellectual property

All materials provided as part of the Services, including worksheets, frameworks, notes and recordings, remain the intellectual property of ST Mentor. They are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only and may not be reproduced, redistributed or resold without our prior written consent.

7. Confidentiality

We treat information you share with us in connection with the Services as confidential and use it only to deliver and improve the Services. Please see our Privacy Policy for further detail on how we handle your personal data.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with the Services is limited to the amount you have paid for the specific Service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your booking is the version that applies to that booking. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
