The Portfolio Snapshot is designed for applicants who want a practical overview of where they currently stand, what to prioritise next, and how to approach their Ophthalmology ST1 portfolio more strategically. It is ideal if you are early in your application journey, unsure where to start, or want to sense-check your current direction before deciding whether a full portfolio review is needed.

This does not include detailed pre-session review of a full evidence folder. Applicants who want detailed review of their portfolio evidence should consider the Full Portfolio Review.
After booking, you will receive a confirmation email containing a pre-session self-assessment scoring proforma and a pre-assessment survey link. Please complete the proforma and upload it through the survey at least 24 hours before your appointment. This gives ST Mentor the best chance to understand your current position and prepare a personalised portfolio action plan.
Your information will be used only to prepare for and deliver your ST Mentor session. Please do not upload patient-identifiable information, confidential recruitment material, recruitment portal screenshots, or third-party personal data.

Book a Portfolio Snapshot
Start with a 30-minute call to discuss your current stage, main concerns and immediate priorities.
Complete the pre-session form
After booking, you will receive an email with the pre-session form and portfolio self-assessment proforma. Please complete this at least 24 hours before your call.
Receive focused advice
We will identify your top portfolio priorities, discuss quick wins and clarify whether a deeper review would be useful.
Choose your next step
After the Snapshot, you can decide whether to continue with a Full Portfolio Review for more detailed evidence review and a 30/60/90 day strategy.
Please do not submit patient-identifiable information, confidential recruitment material, screenshots from recruitment portals or third-party personal data.
Detailed review

The Full Portfolio Review is a deeper one-hour session for applicants who want more detailed review of their portfolio summary, CV, evidence list, evidence quality, scoring strategy and next steps. This may be suitable if you already have your evidence organised, know you want a comprehensive review, or have completed a Portfolio Snapshot and want more detailed support.
The Full Portfolio Review is not currently bookable during the launch phase. Register your interest below to be notified when it becomes available.
